AMD to Buy ATI

I know but when I see dual core processors, geforce 7 series cards, DDR3 ram of up to 2 gig, I start to get all bummed about my system. I upgrade when I can here and there and this system does do what I need it to. I just wait for prices to drop, as in the gefore 6600GT up to the 6800 have come down in price since the 7 series.
This is only my opinion, I could be wrong.
