How to skip a part in HL2

ok i always hated this one part, right after you get your magnum... you know... the part when u run through a buncha storage things with a helicopter shooting at you and combine guys everywhere with manhacks, then you have to find your way to that building to open the big watergate so you can go through?

yeah well i would say i have a 40% chance of survival doing that... so i went and spent 40 minutes with barrels until i considered getting a chair and did this:

works perfectly

you can do it once u get ur magnum and kill the 3 guys that come in the door, never go through there, just go back with a barrel and a chair and you wont even have a helicopter on ur ass

lol i hate that part, especially when i get into the warehouse and they toss their manhacks.
manhacks are more annoying than any of the headcrabs

Headcrabs are bitches, but fucking cool once you get the bugbait shit. I just hate the part right after you get the bug bait and are trying to get into Nova Prospekt. Don't know why, but I suck ass at that part.

And once you get into Nova Prospekt as well...it seems eerie to me, kinda like F.E.A.R, but it doesn't scare the shit outta me.

i love the bugbait, i just throw the shit making the things take all the hits while i run around not shooting at anything XD

nova prospekt was ok, it WAS quite similar to the FEAR demo, it just woulda been nice if the antlions could be with you the ENTIRE way through the prison.

what do headcrabs do with bugbait?? i dont remember anything about the two relating to each other

Actually, I've been just sleeping pretty much all day. Therefore... a bit tired. Not to mention I haven't eaten much today either. Well, didn't eat actually food... =P

I've done alot of traveling on that little wave rider thingy. I'ved opedn up several of those gates they close on you, and have seen plenty of those head crabs.
